Gardner’s Andrew Francisco is vacating his chef de cuisine role at the vegetable-centric restaurant, as reported by Austin360. He plans on moving back home to Oregon for his family. Taking his place will be PJ Edwards, who served as the restaurant’s sous chef and worked for Sean Brock and Jason Dady. Edwards will work with executive chef Andrew Wiseheart.

Francisco was previously executive chef of Mettle and slated to help out with other Bridget Dunlap projects. Gardner was named one of Bon Appétit’s best new restaurants recently.
