Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen’s third location in the former Restaurant Jezebel space is now open in the Cirrus Logic Building on West Sixth, as reported by Austin360. The restaurant and its sister cafe Lola’s Savannah officially debuted on Wednesday, July 1.
Grove partner Beth Lasita previously told Eater that they aimed to bring a new dining option to downtown Austin. "We focus on what we do well, which is to offer a little bit of something for everyone," she said. It will serve its usual menu and wines. The new spot's patio overlooks Shoal Creek. There’s also free valet, which comes in handy in downtown Austin.
The jackets-required Restaurant Jezebel shuttered on February 15. Next-door sister restaurant Tapasitas closed down in October 2014 and served as Jezebel’s event space until Grove took over in February.
The new location is open on the weekends from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Weekend brunch is served from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and daily happy hour is Mondays-Saturdays from 4-6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. The coffee shop opens up at 6 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends, closing at 10 p.m. daily.
