Weekend Plans: Banger's Beer Festival, Movie Screenings, More

There’s a lot going on in Austin for the first weekend in August. From Banger’s anniversary festival, movie screenings at Easy Tiger and Blue Starlite, and Trace’s ice cream social, add these restaurant and bar events to your calendar for the weekend.

WEST SIXTH — East Side King’s Thai Kun truck is popping up in front of future home Steampunk Saloon tonight, July 31, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. [EaterWire]

RAINEY — Banger’s is celebrating its third anniversary by throwing a party and beer festival on Saturday, August 1. Starting at 11 a.m., there will be over 100 beers, four giant pig roasts, and music. [EaterWire]
