Austin’s dining field is expanding with second (or third) locations, moves, and more.
Hopdoddy
For its third location, Austin’s burger bar chain is heading to Round Rock. It will take over the old Denny’s be found on 2800 North IH-35, near Jack Allen’s Kitchen. No exact date is set but it will open before the end of the year.

Sharing the same building as the new Hopdoddy will be the fourth location of sports bar Cover 3. There are two already in Austin, and one in San Antonio. The projected opening date is January 2016.
Lima Criolla Peruvian Restaurant
Many changes are in store for the former La Chaparrita, including a move from the Highland Mall to the Linc on 6406 N IH-35, a name switch to Lima Criolla, and a pisco bar. After inspections, it is expected to open on Saturday, August 8. The Linc, will also be home to the second Easy Tiger.

Taco Joint
Bearer of cheap eats Taco Joint is expanding to a second spot on 134 E. Riverside. Though no date is scheduled, it should debut within the next two months.

Snarf’s Sandwiches
The Colorado-based sandwich chain is opening a second Austin spot this fall on 1400 South First. The menu will be the same as the one near campus, with sandwiches, salads, and gluten-free items.

Rebel Pizza Bar
After remodeling last fall, Suzi's China Grill is turning the second floor of the building into Rebel Pizza Bar. It will have pizza, beer, and patio space.
