Red Star Southern, Erica Waksumnki’s popular and cheeky southern trailer, left The Grackle for Wonderland. It will re-open on Friday, July 31 and is replacing Garbo’s Lobster Truck, which will have its last day at the same time.

Red Star’s relocated hours will be from Thursday to Mondays starting at 6 p.m. until sold out. There are plans to host a special chef’s table dinner at the trailer, but the date has yet to be determined.

Waksmunski is currently the pastry chef at Parkside Projects, the same position she held when she worked for Congress. Wonderland was also previously home to East Side King Thai Kun and The Chaat Shop.

Update, 4:36 p.m.: On the move, Waksumnki said, "It's a trailer. If I wanted to hang out in one spot forever, I'd have a brick and mortar."
