— A man on a motorcycle crashed into Whataburger’s front window in Pflugerville last night.

— According to the "Lexicocalorimeter," a research tool that uses food mentions on social media for measuring its "caloric content," Texas really loves doughnuts, not barbecue.

— Slim Chickens, the fast casual Southern fried chicken chain from Arkansas, is trying to come to Austin, but can’t find enough sites for at least seven to ten restaurants in the city. Maybe it’s because of this. There are already several locations scattered in Texas, including in Fort Worth.

— The kitchen in Bombay Grill out on Westlake caught on fire on Monday afternoon. No one was hurt but the cause isn’t known still.
