The Domain’s Rock Rose shopping district is getting bigger with the addition of four new bars and restaurants. There’s rooftop and rum cocktail bar 77 Degrees, dance nightclub The Rose Room, cocktail lounge Saint Genevieve, and beer-focused Jack and Ginger’s Irish Pub. The projects are helmed by Jeff and Darren Van Delden of the Union Venture Group, which also oversees sports bar The Park on South Lamar and in the Domain, and edible cocktail provider Somersault.
The two-story dance club Rose Room will serve as the "flagship party spot" with table reservations. Like the group’s now-shuttered Houston location, Saint Genevieve will offer internationally-inspired shared plates, wine, and Sunday brunch with a Bloody Mary bar. Jack and Ginger’s will have 82 beers on tap and Irish/American comfort food. The establishments are projected to open sometime in the fall.

Dick Clark and Associates's Jeff Krolicki planned the overall building on 11500 Rock Rose Avenue where the four bars will be found. The firm also worked on Star Bar, Amy's Ice Creams, Hangar Lounge, and others. Chris McCray (Lenoir) designed 77 Degrees and The Rose Room, while Darren Van Delden worked on Saint Genevieve and Jack and Ginger’s.

Other planned restaurants in the works for the new Domain district include East Side King’s Thai Kun brick and mortar, and another Second Bar + Kitchen.
