Lick Ice Creams' second Austin shop, this one on Burnet Road, will open on Wednesday, July 22. At 1,125 square feet, it is larger than the flagship on South Lamar. Hours will be from 12:30-10 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and 12:30-11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. For the grand opening, free scoops will be handed out from 7-10 p.m.

While the Brentwood store was being built out, Lick previewed its cold goods with an ice cream truck in the same spot. The truck will still be used, but locations are being determined. Lick also has a site out in San Antonio as well.

The shopping center where the new Lick will be located will also house Barley Swine’s new permanent location in November, and the second Bufalina.
