CHARITY WIRE — Taco Flats and Quality Seafoods will give out free meals to students, faculty, and volunteers who were affected by the recent floods. Both restaurants will be set up in Bobcat Village from 12-2 p.m. Because of the floods, Kome is also donating 5% of gross sales to the Central Texas Red Cross, as well as all sales of the $4 Kyuri in Main drink to United Way, today, June 3. SOUTH LAMAR — A fourth Caffe Medici opened today at Lamar Union. Owner Michael Vaclav previously told Eater that the look of the new cafe is "something in between the Austonian location and West Lynn." The 1,500 square foot space includes outdoor seating. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. until midnight, and Saturday to Sunday, 7 a.m . until midnight. [EaterWire]
