In honor of today's Supreme Court ruling that same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states in the country, Austin's bars, clubs, and more are celebrating with parties, drink specials, and movie screenings. RAIN ON 4TH — The bar is now open with an all-day happy hour. It’s also the venue for the Texas for Marriage’s SCOTUS Decision Day after party starting at 7 p.m.
SUGAR MAMA’S BAKESHOP — The bakery is giving out free rainbow desserts right now at the South First spot, and starting at 3 p.m. on Manor Road. Tomorrow, the free minis will be available at both locations beginning at 10 a.m.
THE IRON BEAR — The bar is opening an hour earlier at 2 p.m. with 50 cent (one cent for each state) well drinks.
OILCAN HARRY’S — All drinks will be 46 cents at the nightclub today in honor of the 46th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
HIGHLAND LOUNGE — The SCOTUS marriage equality victory party is tonight at the nightclub from 8 p.m.-2 a.m.
ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE — The South Lamar movie theater is hosting a free screening of The Birdcage tonight at 11:55 p.m.
