Italian Restaurant Juliet Debuts on Barton Springs on July 1

Austin’s latest Italian addition, Juliet, will open on Wednesday, July 1. The restaurant’s modern approach to Italian cuisine includes housemade pastas, sausage, and gelato. There will be olive oil tastings, as well as wood-fired pizza. The full dinner menu follows below.

The space was designed by Clayton & Little Architects, Joel Mozersky Design, and Mark Wood Design. The interior, which features five different dining areas like an airy bar and intimate lounge, seats 135 guests. Outside, the expansive shaded patio fits up to 135 diners. The kitchen team includes executive chef Jacob Weaver from Asti, executive pastry chef Carly Rosmeissl from Easy Tiger, chef de cuisine Brandon Fuller of Cafe Josie, and beverage director Robert Millican, the co-founder of Firehouse Lounge.

The restaurant was announced earlier this year. The space was the former home to Mama Mia and the coincidentally-named Romeo. Juliet will be open Sunday through Thursday, 5-10 p.m, and Friday and Saturday from 5-11 p.m. The bar will be open for happy hour everyday from 3-7 p.m.
