STK Rebel, the comparatively more affordable version of "female-friendly" modern steakhouse chain STK, will take over the former Melting Pot building in downtown Austin, as first reported by The Chronicle. The 7,000 square foot space, which will have an additional 4,000 square foot rooftop, is set to open in 2016.
The restaurants are part of The One Group, which also includes Bagatelle and Asellina. STK is open in various cities, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York. STK Rebels are set for Miami and Denver. Another STK will open in Dallas next year, too, making these the first Texan locations for the group.
