After a conceptual change, the new East 6th project from Rainey Street entrepreneur Bridget Dunlap has a name: Burn. The restaurant will center on pizza, with a focus on its bar. The pizza place will be found at 1802 East 6th Street, the former home of Custom Tees by Lee next to the shuttered Dario’s.

The project has gone through two name revisions. Last fall, The Statesman reported that the restaurant would be called Nuns and Lovers and focus on overall casual Italian fare, including pasta. In July 2013, Zagat noted it would be called Ophelia Blue and serve Sardinian and Sicilian fare.

Burn is expected to open sometime this late summer, according to a Facebook post on Lustre Pearl’s page. Currently the Dunlap ATX bar group has Clive, Bar 96, and Container Bar on Rainey Street, and Mettle in East Austin. According to Community Impact, the original Lustre Pearl’s trip to the East Austin at 114 Linden Street to become Lustre Pearl East will finish up by the summer. The new Lustre Pearl on 97 Rainey Street is still under construction and should open by late summer or early fall.
