Here's the Opening Day Line at Austin's First Shake Shack

Check out that line.

The very first Shake Shack in Texas opened today at 11 a.m. in Austin. People couldn’t wait until their burger fix, so they started waiting much earlier, at 8 a.m. The line stretched into the space in front of soon-to-open neighbor Cantine. Diners got to try the the signature ShackBurgers and fries. There are also Austin exclusive items like the Lockhart Link burger made with Kreuz Market sausages, and the Uchi-konkrete, a vanilla custard mixed with Uchi/Uchiko’s miso hazlenut blondie and huckleberry jam.

There is a second Shake Shack planned for the Domain. It’s expected to open sometime this summer.
