The brunch-only chain Snooze is already working on its second Austin location on South Lamar, according to a tweet by real estate group the Retail Strategy. Confirmed by a rep, the restaurant signed the lease for the 3,900 square foot space on 1700 South Lamar last week. The location near Collier Street is also home to Picnik and Texas Cuban.
Snooze’s first Texas restaurant will open in the Lamar Central complex on North Lamar by the end of this year. The South Austin spot is expected to open in early 2016. This is the most recent Denver-Austin chain exchange, including Torchy’s, Hopdoddy, and Snarf’s.
