Chi'Lantro’s second brick and mortar will open on Burnet Road on May 18 at 10:30 a.m. Owner Jae Kim took over the former Man Bites Dog space in March for the expansion. Expect to find a similar menu to the South Lamar location, including Korean barbecue and chicken wings, along with those famed kimchi fries. Eater got a sneak peek inside the colorful new space designed by Kim Lewis. The 1,600 square foot restaurant seats 45 guests.
The first physical restaurant from the popular food truck empire quickly took over the old AOK Chinese spot in January. The trucks are still in service. The Burnet Road Chi’Lantro will be open Mondays to Thursdays from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m., and Fridays to Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to midnight.
