BEER HERE — It’s the middle of American Craft Beer Week, and the city is still drinking the brews. St. Philip is hosting two beer dinners: one with Austin Beerworks tonight, Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m., and another with Founder’s Brewing on Wednesday, May 13. Hops & Grain's Josh Hare will set up shop at Hopfields on Wednesday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. with beer flights. The brewery is also hosting a happy hour at Star Bar on Friday, May 15 from 4-7 p.m. [EaterWire]

EAST 7TH — Get a dining and drinking tour of LaV with a special boutiques spirits dinner on Thursday, May 14 starting at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by beverage manager Darren Scott, dishes will include crispy rabbit rillettes, oak grilled beef heart, and bananas foster. FAR NORTH — The Sustainable Food Center’s Farm to Plate fundraiser is back again on Thursday, May 14 at Barr Mansion. From 6:30-9:30 p.m., chefs Jesse Griffiths, Sonya Cote, and Rene Ortiz, among others, will make food using local ingredients. General admission tickets are $200. [EaterWire]
