Southside Flying Pizza Unleashes a Third Location on Cesar Chavez

Southside Flying Pizza has expanded to a third location on Cesar Chavez, according to a Twitter update from the pizzeria. The scratch-cooking focused restaurant opens at 5 p.m. at 2702 E. Cesar Chavez tonight, slinging discount pies and free garlic knots.

Lower East Austin is experiencing a pizza boom: Southside's opening comes hot on the heels of Salvation Pizza on Rainey and Spartan Pizza on East 6th. Southside also has locations on South Congress and South Lamar, as well as a food truck roaming the East 6th bar scene.
