Houston’s Liberty Kitchen Oyster Bar Soft Opens in Clarksville

The Austin location of Liberty Kitchen, the Houston-based seafood and oyster bar, is now open Update: will open on Wednesday, May 6, in the Pressler apartment complex in Clarksville. The Austin restaurant has been in the works since it was announced in the fall of 2012. The Michael Hsu-designed spot officially opened its doors Update: for the soft opening for dinner on April 23, and expanded to brunch and lunch on April 29.

The Liberty Kitchen is part of Lance Fegen and Travis Lenig’s Feed TX restaurant group, which also includes BRC, Petite Sweets, and El Cantina Superior, all in Houston. The lunch and dinner menu offers raw oysters, seafood, burgers, mac and cheese, salads, and sandwiches. Breakfast and weekend brunch are also available.

Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Thursdays, 11-12 a.m. Fridays, 8-12 a.m. Saturdays, and 8 a.m.-9 p.m. on Sundays. The restaurant’s location on 507 Pressler Drive puts it in very close proximity to one of Austin's oyster destination, Clark’s Oyster Bar.
