Long-awaited New American restaurant Vox Table will launch dinner service Wednesday, April 29. Located in the spankin' new Lamar Union complex, the restaurant will serve small plates from (descriptive!) menu sections: Provisions, Leaves + Roots, Fins + Shells, Feathers + Beaks, and Hooves.

According to a press release, sample menu items from executive chef Joe Anguilano include a fancy BLT, braised oxtail, and glazed cabrito. Expect things to get boozy: pastry chef Allison Henschel has created a  Sazerac sundae, and the bar menu by Travis Tober will offer an entire Old Fashioned section. Take a tour of the space by restaurant design veteran Joel Mozersky and architect Clayton & Little. Opening hours are Sunday - Wednesday 5:00 - 10:00 P.M., Thursday - Saturday 5:00 - 11:00 P.M., with a bar menu available for an additional hour each night.
