Tour Vox Table, a New Small Plates Restaurant in Lamar Union

Check out the first restaurant to launch in the new Alamo Drafthouse complex.

New American restaurant Vox Table is almost ready to launch in Austin's flagship mixed use complex, Lamar Union. The brainchild of owner Vincent Manguino and chef Joe Anguilano, who most recently of Eleven Plates and Wine, the small plates-focused menu will incorporate French and Spanish influences. The space offers an unusually large amount of bar seating, and bar manager Travis Tober has developed a serious cocktail program.

Eater photographer Robert J. Lerma takes a tour of the modern and stylish space, located directly across from the new Drafthouse. Expect the restaurant to open as soon as this week. Other restaurants on the horizon include Emmett and Lisa Fox's Cantine and the long-awaited Austin debut of Shake Shack.
