Snooze, the Denver-based brunch chain, is coming to Austin by the end of this year, according to a Twitter exchange with Austin-based blogger Hipstercrite. This will be its first Texas location. It’s set to open at 3800 North Lamar, which means it will be part of the Lamar Central mixed-use complex. The restaurant teased the Austin opening with an Instagram post in March.

The breakfast and lunch menus span from pancakes, sandwiches, different versions of eggs benedict, tacos, and even a breakfast pot pie. Drinks include coffee, teas, hot chocolate, craft beers, and morning-ready cocktails like mimosas and Bloody Marys.

There are already locations throughout Colorado, California, and Arizona. Other impending spots include GIlbert and Kierland in Arizona and Lone Tree in Colorado.

Snooze’s Texas move is the latest Austin-Denver chain exchange. Already open in Austin are Punch Bowl Social and Snarf’s Sandwiches, and coming soon is Infinite Monkey Theorum Winery. Denver is getting the first out-of-Texas expansion of Torchy’s this fall. The city already has Austin-grown Alamo Drafthouse and Hopdoddy.
