Nadia Chaudhury is the editor of Eater Austin covering food and pop culture, as well as a photographer, writer, and frequent panel moderator and podcast guest.

Mando Rayo and Jarod Neece, the duo behind Taco Journalism, are working on a second book: The Tacos of Texas. The pair already authored the Tex Mex bible of all that is holy to the city: Austin Breakfast Tacos: The Story of the Most Important Taco of the Day, which published in 2013. Rayo and Neece received their new book contract from publisher University of Texas Press earlier this March.

According to book’s overview, it will cover eight to ten different cities in the same. The two will learn more about tacos from "restaurateurs, taqueros, abuelitas, chefs, and Texas legends that make each city’s tacos the best." There will be over 50 recipes featured, too. Keep track of their exploits on their new Facebook page and website.

Rayo mapped out the ten best places to find classic Tex Mex dishes in Austin for Eater in February.
