Four Austin Chefs Up For Food & Wine’s People’s Best New Chef

Including the Best New Chefs 2015 from Olamaie.

There are four Austin chefs on the Southwest ballot for Food & Wine’s the People’s Best New Chef for the year. Despite not working at Sway anymore, Alexis Chong is on the list, as are LaV’s Allison Jenkins and Contigo and Gardner’s Andrew Wiseheart. Best New Chefs 2015 Michael Fojtasek and Grae Nonas from Olamaie are also on the poll. Voting for the readers’ choice award ends on April 8.
