Paul Qui & Questlove to Talk About Foodlove at SouthBites

Watch two food lovers geek out over all things culinary when Paul Qui and the Roots’ drummer Questlove talk together at SXSW. The panel will feature the duo discussing their food obsessions and how they work that devotion into their careers in an enjoyable way. Darin Bresnitz, the co-host of music and food radio show Snacky Tunes, will moderate the conversation, which will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 5-6 p.m at the Driskill Hotel.

Austin already knows how much Qui has fun with what he does, from launching his flagship tasting room by blowing up a paper mâché money cat, to embarking on creative collaborations like with Aaron Franklin and his SXSW badgeholder-only dinner this year with James Beard winner Sean Brock and Modernist Cuisine’s Nathan Myhrvold on March 15. Questlove, who is also the band leader on The Tonight Show and an attempted restaurateur, frequently hosts food salons, where lucky guests get to try his fried chicken.
