Help raise money for the Blue Cat Cafe by attending their feline-filled pop-up tomorrow, March 11, at Cheer Up Charlie’s. Guests at the "kitty petting party" can play with cats brought by the Austin Humane Society, drink, and donate to the cafe’s Kickstarter from 6-9 p.m. People who donate beforehand will get a free prize, too.

The Blue Cat Cafe has other events on the horizon, too. On Sunday, March 29, bar Stompin’ Grounds will host a live concert and cats to raise money for the cafe. This past weekend, there were two pop-up parties with cats, one at Counter Culture on Saturday with lunch and gifts, and the second at Coco-Coquette with Sweet Ritual ice cream and Fara coffee on Sunday. Expect more Caturdays and other events soon.

Launched by Rebecca Gray, the Blue Cat Cafe is seeking to become Austin’s first cat cafe with an all-vegan bend. The Kickstarter launched last month and is seeking $60,000 by April 18 for rent, construction, insurance, and more.
