With restaurants at Peak Prix Fixe, Valentine's Day is a notorious dining horror show. Why not celebrate the holiday's proud history by attending the most horrifying prix fixe dinner in town? The food stunt fanatics at the Alamo Drafthouse are rolling out a "four course cannibal feast" for an anti-Valentine's screening of Cannibal Holocaust.
Sister company Mondo is releasing the original score for the film, which they describe in a press release as "a horror movie that gives horror fans pause." In addition to screening Cannibal Holocaust at Drafthouse locations across the country, the Drafthouse will host the gross-out dinner at the South Lamar location at 10 p.m. on February 14. Menu items include "thinly sliced pickled tongue" and "human stew." While this seems like a mostly safe bet for avoiding couples, the prix fixe could still draw couples like moths to a flame, so brace.
