Austin's latest combination producer/restaurant Apis will feature their very own honey in their dishes and desserts. Located in at 23526 Highway 71 in Spicewood, the restaurant will open Friday according to The Statesman. Opening hours will be 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Take an exclusive first look at the dinner, dessert, and bar menus, which feature occasional touches of honey. The dinner menu includes a salad with honey vinaigrette, and there's a "honey bun" for dessert, amongst other options. Longtime catering chef Taylor Hall is behind the project; he recently ran Austin's outpost of Supper Underground.
