A unique opportunity to experience French cuisine in Austin is headed to SXSW. The French Tech Club will present a five day restaurant pop-up spearheaded by chef Rémi Fourier of Chez Rémi in Angers, France. Fourier's mentor chef Gérard Bossé of the Michelin-starred Une Île in Angers will also offer a pop-up of his restaurant, and the team will showcase French natural wines not usually available in the U.S., as well as "forgotten" cocktails, according to a press release.

The event runs from March 15 - 20 at the French Legation, and tickets for both lunch and dinner menus from Chez Rémi and Une Île are now available, ranging from $110 - $200. The venue will also highlight French film, music, and tech as well as cuisine. Fourier has previously cooked at SXSW, and Austin and Angers have been sister cities since 2011.
