Bryce Gilmore and his team's transition from tiny small-plates driven Barley Swine the much larger and more complex Odd Duck has overall been wildly successful, but the ever-evolving restaurant is still tweaking its approach. Case in point: Odd Duck has relaunched their lunch menu today to de-emphasize small plates sharing and instead offer more traditional midday options like sandwiches, tacos, soups, and salads.
For the first time, the restaurant will also serve a burger, which according to a press release, "The team spent many sleepless nights perfecting." Said insomnia-inducing burger is $15, topped with "'tasty paste,' bleu cheese, green chile mayo, lettuce and onion" on a Parker house bun. The restaurant is also plainning to launch a new late night menu soon.
