New Waterloo’s empire is getting bigger with the addition of another new restaurant to downtown Austin in late 2016: the casual French-American Chez Nada. It will open on the ground  Northshore, an impending luxury high rise building on San Antonio and 2nd streets. No chef is attached to the project yet.

The space will feature a patio with an oak tree and outdoor seating along 2nd Street. Inside, there will be a bar, lounge, raw bar, and large dining room. The bakery, which will serve pastries, bread, and coffee during the daytime, will double as a private dining room during evenings. The address is 110 San Antonio.

New Waterloo’s current projects include the South Congress Hotel, where Paul Qui’s Otoko will open in January. The hospitality group is also continuing Austin’s Italian influx by opening two Italian restaurants on East 6th. Other restaurants under its purview are Sway and the two-restaurant expansion and La Condesa.
