SOUTH LAMARVox Table’s chef de cuisine Carlos Almaraz’s son Aidan was diagnosed with leukemia and to help him raise money for his treatment, Austin’s best bartenders are hosting a fundraiser at the Lamar Union restaurant tonight, Monday, December 7. From 10 p.m. to midnight, guest bartenders from New York’s Employees Only, Half Step, Whisler’s, Weather Up, Firehouse Lounge, Midnight Cowboy, The Townsend, Drink.Well, and others will serve gin and rum cocktails, and all proceeds and tips will go towards Alamaraz. BARTON SPRINGS — It’s Rat Pack Week at Juliet starting tonight, and the Italian restaurant is offering a four course menu and two special cocktails in honor of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.’s birthdays this week. [EaterWire]
