Chronicle’s Top Ten Food Lists; Mike Sutter’s Final Taco

For the last issue of the year, Chronicle put together various food-related top ten lists. Virginia Wood recounted her favorite dishes of the year. Brandon Watson lamented restaurant closures and staff departures. Of Congress’ shutter tonight, he wrote:

Fed Man Walking's Mike Sutter wanted to end his year-long taco project with a final taco from Torchy’s South Congress flagpship, but construction thwarted that plan. Instead, he made do by ordering off the secret menu from the taco chain’s original trailer, along with breakfast tacos and the December lamb special.
