Central Market Stops Mast Brothers Chocolate Orders, Torchy’s Tacos Denies Open Carry, and More A.M. Intel

— Central Market is stopping all orders of Mast Brothers Chocolate in light of the recent scandal. The owners admitted that early renditions of the bars weren’t made from scratch.

— Both Torchy’s Tacos and Guero’s are opting out of open carry, which goes into effect on Friday, January 1. The taco restaurants are joining HEB, Whole Foods, and Whataburger in the open carry ban, which goes into effect Friday, January 1.

Fargo actor Jesse Plemons gave Salt & Time a signed apron from his character’s butcher shop on the show. To prep for the role, he shadowed the East 7th butchers earlier this year.

— Three teen boys were charged with stealing a car from a pizza delivery person and attempting to run the man over yesterday.
