— Antone's, the often-moving historic nightclub, is reopening again on 305 East 5th Street tomorrow for New Year's Eve, December 31. This is after the music venue and bar left the East Riverside location two years ago.

— Eater’s Bartender of the Year Justin Lavenue of The Roosevelt Room shared tips and recipes for hosting a New Year’s Eve party, like creating drink stations, and having different booze options.

— Jessica Sanders from Drink.Well and forthcoming Backbeat and Alamo Drafthouse's Bill Norris were named as two of this year’s Imbibe 75.

— Lyft shared data on the most traveled-to places in Austin with the Lyftie Awards. Bar-filled Rainey Street was the most popular destination. For restaurant, it was Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, which probably has more to do with the music than the food.

— Both Zagat and Thrillist are rolling out year-end reports. The former graded different aspects of Austin’s dining scene, from low marks for lack of diversity, and high ones for barbecue. The latter named Counter 3.Five.VII as the best new restaurant concept, Apis as best new restaurant, and Romanouskas Delicatessen as best new food truck.

— Peche was included in in-flight magazine Southwest’s alcoholic dictionary feature under boozy milkshakes.
