Former Austin Beerworks Alums Will Open St. Elmo Brewing Company

Austin’s brewery circle is getting wider with the opening of St. Elmo Brewing Company next year. It will be run by two former Austin Beerworks employees, Bryan Winslow, head brewer, and Tim Bullock, front of house manager. The brewery will be part of The Yard, the yet-to-open creative workspace on St. Elmo Road. It is not related to the St. Elmo Public Market, which is also looking for a brewery for the space, too.

Guests will be able to taste the goods in the beer hall, which will be open every day except Monday. Three beers will be offered all year-round from St. Elmo Brewing Company: the Kölsch-style ale named Carl, the American pale ale called Chico and the Angus, the dry stout. Other unnamed rotating beers styles will include kettle sours, lagers, Dampfbiers, and more. The space will also feature a food truck which hasn’t been named yet. The brewery is expected to open next summer.
