Lucy’s fried chicken wonderland is opening on Monday along Lake Travis. Eater got a sneak peek of the expanded menu, which takes advantage of the larger kitchen space. It will still include favorites like hot or cold baskets of fried chicken, grilled oysters, and steak night
New additions include many Austin and lake-themed dishes like the Hippie Hollow shrimp cocktail. Brunch is expanded with omelette odes to the other two locations, plus lox and deep fried French toast. The new grilled oyster offering The Hog Island, which is made sweet and spicy with brown sugar, bourbon, and chipotle butter. For sweets, there will be soft serve ice cream along with pies. The massive third Lucy’s will have an oyster shucking station, boat bar, and a music stage. It will be open on Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m. Owner James Holmes also oversees Olivia.
