Geraldine’s, the Hotel Van Zandt restaurant on Rainey Street, is adding brunch to thelineup starting on Sunday, January 3. Run by executive chef Frank Mnuk, the New American menu covers takes on the usual staples, like eggs on toast, yogurt, pancakes, and waffles. The Austin breakfast plate comes with smoked short ribs, pickled green tomatoes, and beef fat mayo, all accompanying two fried eggs. Sunday brunch hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check out the sneak peek of full menu below.

The restaurant opened as part of the Rainey Street Hotel’s debut last month. Rounding out Mnuk's team are executive pastry chef Callie Speer from Swift's Attic and chief of bar operations Jennifer Keyser from Contigo.
