Short Bus Subs Is Looking For a Buyer Right Now

Short Bus Subs owners Dane and Eric Klusman are selling off their food truck business immediately, as noted by Food Trailers Austin. The Airport and Barton Springs locations will stop serving on Wednesday, December 16 at 8 p.m. If the brothers don’t find a buyer for the four school bus trucks owned by the business by that day, they will be forced to file for bankruptcy. Dane told Eater he isn’t sure what his post-Short Bus Subs life will look like yet.

The Klusmans opened Short Bus Subs seven years ago, converting yellow school buses into food trucks. The menu focuses on different types of subs, including chicken and vegetarian-friendly ones.
