The Chameleon Group, the team behind Swift’s Attic and just-debuted Wu Chow, will open a third restaurant in the Lamar Central project. There is no word on what the concept will be as of yet or a projected opening date. The team’s lease is for over 5,000+ square feet for ten years. It will join yet-to-open brunch loving chain Snooze’s first of two Austin locations. Snooze will open sometime in 2016.

In 2012, C.K. Chin and Stuart Thomajan opened their first restaurant, the inventive small plates Swift’s Attic with Mat Clouser, Zack Northcutt, and Callie Speer in the kitchen. Clouser left this past May. Speer soon followed in September to join Hotel Van Zandt and Geradline’s. The group's second restaurant, modern Chinese Wu Chow was announced in 2013, and after a long delay, it finally opens tonight. The group also oversees Delish Bakery, which Speer updated earlier this year, and an event space.
