Austin will get another breakfast option when food truck Paperboy, opens on Tuesday, November 10 on East 11th. Owner Ryan Harms will work with chef Zechariah Perez to create the locally-bent morning menu full of breakfast sandwiches, toasts, and bowls. Harms told Eater he wanted to create a really good dining experience, which he thinks is sometimes "lost in the trailer world." To him, the name represents the early morning with a blue collar aspect.
Paperboy will serve coffee from Tweed Coffee, along with orange juice. The trailer space will include a seating area done by Petrified Design. The group also worked on designs for Burro Cheese Kitchen and Houndstooth. It will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily at 1203 East 11 Street.
