The perks of a four day weekend thanks to Thanksgiving, so there’s more time for dinners, turkey, and pies. After all the cooking and dinner reservations on Thursday, here are four food events to keep you occupied.

SOUTH FIRSTI Knead That is back with another pop-up at Metier on Saturday, November 28 starting at 10 a.m. until sold out. The pastry goods include croissants, scones, English muffins, and more. [EaterWire]

NORTH LOOPEast Side King will set up at bad decisions dive Barfly’s on Saturday. The menu, available from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., includes Poor Qui’s Buns, tori meshi, and chicken karaage. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN — Edible Austin’s Eat Drink Local Week begins on Sunday, November 29 with the stars of the Cooking Channel’s The Fabulous Beekman Boys, Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Dr. Brent Ridge, at the Paramount Theatre starting at 6 p.m. VIP tickets include a meet and greet and bites from Hoover’s Cooking, Lenoir, and others from 6 to 7 p.m. The show will end with a pop-up farmers market in the lobby, too.
