Luxury hotel Granduca’s Visconti Ristorante and Bar will open to the public starting on Wednesday, November 4. The hotel will also host twice-weekly aperitivo happy hour with cocktails, wine, beer, and small bites in the lounge starting on Wednesday, November 11. It will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m.
Executive chef Tom Parlo heads the kitchen. He previously worked at other Miami-based hotels including Mandarin Oriental and St. Regis Bal Harbour. His northern Italian menu includes Cotoletta alla Milanese veal chops, Chianti-braised pork cheeks, and grilled fish. Uchi alum Andrew Lewis joined him as executive pastry chef last month. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will be available, along with daily afternoon teas from 2 to 5 p.m. Brunch service will begin on Sunday, November 29.
The space includes an outdoor patio with a fireplace and a private dining room that seats 12 people. The restaurant’s bar will host live music, and it will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
