More Austin locations of Marc Vetri’s Pizzeria Vetri and possibly casual Italian Amis Trattoria are in the works, after the Philadelphia chef sold a majority of his restaurant group, The Vetri Family, to Urban Outfitters this week. There might even be brand new concepts, too, as Jeff Benjamin, the chief operating officer of Vetri Family, told the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Vetri’s first Austin branch of Pizzeria Vetri is opening on Saturday, November 21, as part of the clothing company’s Space 24 Twenty, its latest retail and food complex on the Drag. Also joining the James Beard Award-winning chef is Michael Symon’s Burger Joint, a take on the Ohio chef’s B Spot Burgers chain.

The Urban Outfitters sale went for under $20 million dollars, includes Pizzeria Vetri, Amis Trattoria, Osteria, Alla Spina, and LoSpiedo. This excludes original flagship restaurant Vetri. All future locations of Urban Outfitters will have a Pizzeria Vetri. After the deal, Urban Outfitters' stock was down.
