Geraldine’s, the anticipated restaurant from the musically-inclined Hotel Van Zandt, is making its Rainey Street debut on Tuesday, November 17. The hotel already opened to guests on Friday. Shareable feasts are the main feature of executive chef Frank Mnuk’s locally-inspired menu, where the family-style dinners will include dishes like braised beef osso bucco and whole roasted porchetta. Also on staff are Callie Speer as executive pastry chef and Jennifer Keyser as chief of bar operations.
The restaurant, named after the neighborhood's late guinea hen, boasts an open kitchen, outdoor seating, lounges, multiple music stages, and a separate entrance leading to the dedicated elevator. Eater photographer JR Photo takes a tour of the fourth floor hotel restaurant.
