Kyoten, the East 6th sushi trailer, is growing up with a planned brick and mortar up in Mueller, as reported by the Chronicle. The forthcoming restaurant will be found in the Mosaic apartment complex at 4600 Mueller Boulevard, Suite #1035. Owner Otto Phan applied for remodeling permits in August. The new space will serve beer and wine as well. For now, it’s projected to open sometime in early to mid-2016.

The sushi trailer focuses on serving sustainable fish and tasty rice bowls. Diners currently can BYOB in the zen garden, too. Phan opened the trailer with chef Leo Rodriguez. The two previously worked for Uchi, Masa, Nobu, Sushi-A-Go-Go, and other similar restaurants.

There are other in-progress projects nearby in Mueller, too. Jodi Elliot's boozy bakery dreams are coming true with the second location of Bribery Bakery. Alamo Drafthouse is working on the city's sixth theater, opening next year. Torchy’s Tacos also opened a mega-store in the area last year.
