DOWNTOWN — For Wu Chow’s opening weekend, the modern Chinese restaurant sold 1,420 soup dumplings and serviced 1,008 diners. [EaterWire]

EAST SIXTHGardner is introducing Sunday Roasts this weekend. Every week, the three course meal will include a snack, roasted meat of some sorts, and a dessert. The $25 family-style dinner will be available from 5:30 to 9 p.m. There is also a vegetarian option, too. The premiere meal’s menu will include roasted chicken, barley and sweet potato risotto, and fried chicken gizzard. [EaterWire]

RAINEY STREET — Banger's will start lunch service on Monday, November 16. Hours will start on 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday. The same sausage-filled menu will be available. [EaterWire]
