Revisit This Year's Best Restaurant Stunners

Looking through 2015’s stone cold stunners.

Aside from food, a restaurant's environment is crucial to a diner's experience. Next week, Eater will announce the winners of the 2015 Eater Awards, which includes this year’s Stone Cold Stunner. Last week, readers voted on the five selected nominees, which included Counter 3.Five.VII’s counter-only tasting room and stylish neighborhood cafe Launderette, narrowing it down to three finalists: Juliet, Juniper, and Fixe.

Out on Barton Springs, Juliet transformed previous tenant Mama Mia’s space into a many-roomed exploration of different dining adventures, from the bright bar area, intimate dining room, to the expansive patio. Then there’s Juniper on East Cesar Chavez with its contemporary space with dark walls, pops of blue, and a tree mural. Finally, in downtown, Fixe brought the outdoors in with a giant screen porch and other Southern touches.

Revisit the five restaurants before next week's announcement with these photos taken by Eater photographer Robert J. Lerma. Stay tuned on Monday to find out which restaurant won.
