BRENTWOOD — The rendering for the Burnet Road shopping center which will soon be home to the new Barley Swine and a second Bufalina was revealed earlier this month. Designed by Levy Architects, the space focuses on a spare look so that "the experience of the diners remain focused on the food," said president Stephen V. Levy. Barley Swine chef Bryce Gilmore added, "It feels rich in experience but overall clean, simple."
SOUTH LAMAR — The build-out begins for Backbeat, the new bar concept from Drink.Well owners Jessica and Michael Sanders. The two made its debut with retro branding and new drinks at La Dolce Vita earlier this month with punny names like the Spritz and Giggles and Nutty by Nature.
