CHEF SHUFFLE — Uchi group alum Justin Huffman is now chef and head of culinary operations for downtown cocktail bar The Townsend. His new menu additions will include braised octopus with harissa yogurt, black garlic tagliatelle, and seared bavette steak. Huffman worked as a line cook for Uchi, worked on the opening staff of Uchiko, and was a sous chef at Justine’s. [EaterWire]

BOOZE NEWS — There’s still time to order Opal Divine’s pink cocktails, the Prickly Pear ‘Rita and the Divine Paloma. A portion of the sales will go towards the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas until the end of the month. [EaterWire]
